Squash tournament

It was my first squash tournament and I was nervous. I was put in the Beginner’s Group because it was my first tournament. We went down to practice in Court One with all the other Beginners. The coach did that so he could see which group he would put me in. After a little practice the coach came down and asked the other Beginners if I should stay in this group, they said no. So I was moved up a level. Now I was in Group Number Two. Here the players were much better, more experienced and older than I was. I knew I was not going to win but it was still a good experience. I won two games, lost two games and tied one game.

The good thing about the tournament was that I got to watch some really good players play and I can take what I have seen and use it in my next games. I did not win but I did not come last which surprised me because I was the youngest kid in Group Number Two. Overall It was a great opportunity to play and I also had a lot of fun!
