Red Pralines

A Red Pralines is a candy from France. It is an almond covered with sugar. It is used for a caramel sauce on cookies, in pies and even as a filling inside a bread. In my opinion it is best on a cookie because the cookie is a thin and it makes a perfect combination. People who would enjoy this are people who like sugar, cherry and almonds.

I tried this praline when I stopped in the French city of Lyon on my way back from our ski trip. I can’t wait to head back home and bake something so that I can put melted pralines on it. Lyon is a very pretty city. We spent a few hours here going to eat at the Paul Bocuse market and visiting a very pretty cathedral with lots of mosaics.

This is what a Red Pralines looks like.
